Eten:
Met kerst eten we eend, gans, varkensvlees of kalkoen. Als toetje eten we vaak crèpes met ijs en warme kersensaus. Tijdens de kerstdagen eten we zoetigheid zoals kerststol, speculaasjes, kerstkransjes, gedroogde appeltjes, marsepein, chocolade, et cetera.

Drinken:
Nederland heeft niet zo veel tradities als het gaat om drinken rond de kerst. Maar de Zweedse traditie om glögg te drinken, is ook in veel andere landen populair. Nadat de kerstkado’s zijn uitgepakt drinken de volwassen op eerste kerstdag vaak wijn, cognac, Irish Coffee of port.

Gezelligheid

De maand december met zijn aanloop naar het kerstfeest
en de uitloop naar het nieuwe jaar tot onze oergezellige feestmaand maakt. Op de volgende pagina’s vinden jullie mijn favoriete kerstshows in Nederland. Vele plaatsen kom ik al jaren en ik maakt veel foto’s van de kerstshows.
